The staff were amazing, making our stay even more enjoyable. the location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by lush jungle and peaceful surroundings. the Burger King Kong restaurant served the best fried chicken and Holy Basil Fried Rice with prawns - we became addicted! Hiring kayaks allowed us to explore the beautiful nearby beach and discover hidden gems. the beginners climbing half-day course was a highlight, our 11-year-old can't wait to go back. the communal areas were perfect for meeting other travelers and hanging out.
Felt truly spoilt, no complaints whatsoever.

The surrounding nature was absolutely stunning, with beautiful mountains and a lush garden. It created a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. the affordable prices at the restaurant were a pleasant surprise, and the delicious Thai food made our dining experience enjoyable. Lastly, the presence of a bar provided a great opportunity to unwind and socialize in the evenings.
There were a few aspects that negatively impacted our stay. the lack of electricity during the day was quite inconvenient, especially when we returned from the beach feeling hot and wanting to relax in our room.

The vibe at Chill Out Bar And Bungalows was exactly what we were looking for. The friendly bar and restaurant created a welcoming atmosphere, and the location was super close to the beach. Our bungalow with a fan was a good size and had everything we needed. Despite being in the jungle, we enjoyed the natural surroundings and the unique experience it provided. The food at Burger Kingkong was delicious, and we appreciated the fair prices. I recommend this hotel for those seeking a laid-back and close-to-nature getaway.
The bed and pillows were not very comfortable, and we did notice some mouse droppings. However, considering the location in the jungle, we understood that these things could be expected.

This budget-friendly place offers private bungalows and friendly staff. It is located in a quiet area, a bit further from the beach. Nature lovers can spot monkeys, birds, and butterflies. Good for rock climbers with nearby tracks and bars. Just a short walk to the beach and town.

The location of the hotel is outstanding, being less than 10 minutes walk from the pier and having an infinity swimming pool right next to the beach. the attached restaurant offered a free full buffet breakfast with a variety of options such as fresh sliced fruits, cereals, toast, stir, fried rice, sausages. the staff at the front desk was always friendly and helpful, making check, in and check, out a breeze. Guests also received complimentary water on arrival and could request more at no charge.
There is a downside to the hotel, as some real estate company has built a huge wall in the back of the beach, which ruins the view for the other bungalows.

The location of this place is absolutely stunning, nestled in the midst of nature with trees and rocks all around. The atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby areas. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. One of the best aspects was the delicious food at the on-site restaurant and bar. We couldn't resist indulging in their mouthwatering dishes, especially the Holy Basil Fried Rice with prawns and the fried chicken - simply the best! Additionally, the beginner climbing course was a highlight, with our 11-year-old eagerly looking forward to going back.
One of the worst aspects of our stay was the limited electricity, which was only available at night. This meant no AC during the day, but with plenty of activities to do, it wasn't a huge problem for us.

The value for money was excellent, and the room was top-notch with a well-functioning shower in the hut. The location was fantastic, close to everything I needed and just a short walk from the beautiful beach. The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement.

We had an amazing stay at Chill Out Bar and Bungalows. the atmosphere was incredible, with a super chilled bar that made us never want to leave. the bar's proximity to our bungalow made it even better, and we extended our stay because we loved it so much. the room had a fan, and with electricity overnight, sleeping in the heat was not a problem. We also enjoyed the nice little balcony where we could relax. Despite the lack of hot water, it didn't bother us as it's not something you need in Thailand. the family restaurant next to the bar served amazing food, and the staff was nice, helpful, and international. the beautiful natural surroundings and the little huts were a sight to behold. Even though Tonsai beach isn't great for swimming, we enjoyed a hike to Railay through the jungle or along the shore during low tide. Just be prepared for some little guests in your hut, like lizards, no matter how hard you try to keep them out. We loved being so close to nature and saw monkeys, varan, geckos, birds, and butterflies around the area. the climbing tracks and bars/restaurants in the vicinity also provided great entertainment. We highly recommend Chill Out Bar and Bungalows to young backpackers and nature lovers. the staff is friendly, helpful, and speaks good English. We'd definitely stay there again. Cons: Nothing to mention. 😉.

The atmosphere at the hotel was amazing with a super chilled bar that made us want to stay forever. We even extended our stay because we enjoyed it so much. The location was beautiful, surrounded by nature and only a short walk to the beach. We also loved the fact that there was a nice little balcony in our room to relax on.
That the mosquito nets in the windows were full of holes and could definitely use some maintenance. the bed and pillows were not comfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Mind-blowing atmosphere with a super chilled bar that makes you wanna stay forever. The room has a fan and electricity overnight, ensuring a comfortable sleep. The balcony is perfect for chilling. No hot water, but hey, who needs it in Thailand? The family restaurant next to the bar has amazing food. The international staff is nice and helpful. The area is beautiful, surrounded by nature and cool little huts. Although Tonsai beach is not for swimming, it's still really pretty and you can hike to Riley through the jungle or along the shore. Just be prepared for some little guests in your hut no matter how hard you try.
